A system tune up is helpful in situations where there isn't a large / sufficient budget to revamp an entire system, or when you only need tweaks to improve the performance of an existing system.

If your venue or church is renovating or expanding, or plan to update an area such as sound, video or lighting - we can help design and build a system to meet your needs and requirements.

SYSTEM TUNE UP
Our system checks helps address issues like feedback, interference, and other related poor sound quality issues. Many of these issues can be easily corrected with some minor tweaks. We will help quick resolve some of these issues during our system check.
Some of these issues include:
Static, hum, crackle
Feedback issues
Poor sound quality
Wireless interference
The system check covers 1 hour of troubleshooting by an engineer. Simple on the spot fixes will be done if possible.
If the system requires more intensive corrections, additional equipment, or other services, we can provide a detailed diagnosis and estimates to help enable the best performance out of your system. If required, we can also outline a budget friendly outline on the next steps to invest in and get your system upto speed.

SYSTEM CHECK
There is no alternative to having a good, trained engineer running your system. In the hands of a skilled engineer, even a simple system can sound great.
We've come across churches and venues with large investments in equipment, yet poorly designed workflows or un trained personnel who are unable to diagnose root causes of issues.
A good grasp and understanding of audio / video concepts is crucial to the operation of any system, and we can help with that. We can also provide nads on mix classes and additional resources for your engineers and volunteers to practice concepts and more importantly, mixing.
A training session will include:
- 1 hr of classroom style course explaining fundamental audio concepts,
- 2 hour hands on training session
Additional hours of hands on training can be provided at additional cost of $80/hr. If necessary, we will provide a digital mix board and material for your tech to visually learn certain key concepts that are crucial to a good mix.

TRAINING
There are certain issues that are caused because the system was initially setup wrong, or poorly designed. This may require complete rewiring, setting up from scratch, or re-setting things up in a different order, etc.
Some of these issues include:
Excessive tweaks to achieve clear sound
Excess reverberation
Unclear sound / speech reproduction
Distortion, Feedback, Signal dropouts
Some of these issues may require an overhaul and replacement with appropriate equipment. We can help diagnose if your equipment is the cause of these issues and we can provide the required equipment or provide recommendations. The addition of a DSP may also be required to help adjust the system
